Which eye is it?

Delighted to see our Chapter on Orbital Interventions in Rhino-Orbit-Cerebral Mucormycosis in the textbook Invasive Skull Base Mucormycosis -New Perspectives.

I was in the audience listening to the keynote address by the guest speaker Infectious Diseases Specialist, Dr. Ayesha Sunavala at Oculoplastics Association of India (OPAI) Annual Meeting. Was pleasantly surprised and honoured to see her quote my paper in one of her slides.

Just back from Mumbai where EyeWitness 2022 -the annual meeting of OculoPlastics Association of India (OPAI) was held. My talk on Trans-Orbital Neuro-Endoscopic Surgery (TONES) was well received. I got so many questions &queries even from international faculty that it made my day.

Old Trauma can make your eyes tear!😢

Back from Nepal attending the 4th NESOS meeting a few days back. It was great interacting with our Nepalese colleagues and exchanging notes. Both my talks - one on Orbital tumours and the other on Patient Specific Implants were well received. The workshop on orbital fractures too received an enthusiastic participation from delegates. It was an honour to be representing 🇮🇳 at Kathmandu and making new friends in this beautiful country. Catching up with friends, Indian colleagues and mentors was great fun. The highlight of trip was the mountain flight organised after the conference, before we travelled back -where we got a clear view of the pristine Himalayan ranges and of course the Mount Everest!

Privileged to be invited faculty for the 4th National Oculoplasty Conference (NESOSCON) of Nepalese Society for Oculoplastic Surgeons (NESOS). Looking forward to the great talks and surgical workshops which are part of the conference. I’m stoked to be interacting with the who’s-who of Ophthalmic Plastics attending as faculty. Last but not the least, to meet friends and colleagues in-person after more than 3 yrs-we have a lot to catch up on.

Have not been posting here lately since my wife and I were on a holiday to the west coast of US.
